Jennifer Tramontozzi
Hello, my name is Jennifer Tramontozzi and I am a busy mom of 3 children under the age of 10, have been a public school teacher for the last 15 years, and more recently, a strong believer in the need for an alternative learning model for our children. One in which the learning community promotes ethics and growth for children as they navigate and explore their independent education and life journeys.
I've always known that my forte was the ability to develop meaningful rapport with students; often finding myself driven to facilitate higher purpose learning opportunities that allow students to intrinsically connect somehow and therefore, become self-motivated and feel valued. I believe that as an educator, making meaningful connections while facilitating these opportunities gives children a reason to want to learn. In turn, they become an active member in their own education; which for me is the ultimate goal.
STEAM School House provides the ability for parents to be an inclusive, growing part of their child’s education, while their kids build meaningful connections and relationships with local and global community partners. “Bringing back the old while working within the new” model ensures a significant balance in a child’s world, simultaneously nurturing the mind, body and soul of each student. Founding STEAM School House in 2021 has definitely been one of my proudest endeavours, but what excites me most is the limitless potential that we, as a collective, have together!
